My Dentists is committed to protecting our patients, ourselves, and our families from illness. We follow strict sanitizing and disinfecting protocols every day. This includes disinfecting the entire patient room, steam sterilizing all instruments, and using disposable, one-time-use items where applicable. In addition to our normal protocols, we have increased sanitizing in common areas. We are disinfecting all countertops, hard surfaces, credit card keypads, clipboards, knobs, handles, waiting room chairs, and bathrooms several times throughout the day. We have temporarily eliminated patient sign-in sheets and patient pens are one-time use.
In addition to our above efforts, we are staggering appointments to limit patient time spent in the waiting area and we are rescheduling elective procedures, such as whitening, to May. We ask that any patient who has a cough, fever, or shortness of breath call us to reschedule. If you’ve traveled to Europe or Asia or been on a cruise ship in the last four weeks, we will ask that you reschedule your appointment.
We will continue to monitor recommendations from the CDC, the NC State Board of Dental Examiners, and the American Dental Association®.
